One Year Blogiversary!

It’s official! I have been blogging for one whole year!

I’m really proud of myself. I didn’t blog every day, but I met my goal – to post 100 blogs within the first year.

In honor of this anniversary, I have a request to anyone that sees this post (even if you don’t see it until next year!). Would you share with me in the comment section which blog post has inspired you or encouraged you the most? Or tell me which is your favorite! And then, share it on your favorite form of social media, so it can encourage someone else or make someone else laugh 🙂 And if this is the first post you’re reading on my blog, I guess you’ll just have to check out some other ones, so you can find your favorite!!

The last year has been really amazing. When I first started blogging, I thought, “maybe ten people will read this,” but God blew my expectations out of the water! Thousands of people have read my blog, and many of them have come back several times. I am humbled.

I am so excited to look back and see all of the places I’ve been and the things God has walked me through, but I am more excited to see how God has used and will continue to use my blog to glorify His name and to further the gospel. I have great anticipation for the coming year.

One of the things I love about the stats section in WordPress is that I can see how far around the world my blog has travelled – it’s been read in more than 50 countries!! I told my brother I would do a shout out to all of my international readers today, so here goes:

  1. The Aladdin one stands out to me today as one I really appreciated because I’ve been praying to understand what true freedom in Christ means for a while, AND I have 3 kids…so anytime you can point back to Jesus via Disney I am pretty excited about it. 🙂

  2. “Sin and the Sea” Nov. 30, 2015 Inspired me, encouraged me, and will likely always be my favorite. I’ve known and recalled that verse (Hebrews 8:12) for 40 years or more, but your insight on: forgetting vs remembering no more, just blew me away. In the passing year, I’ve had a chance to share this revelation with people who needed to hear it explained just that way. My little girl is so smart 🙂 (As for sharing on my favorite social media; you know I’m a face to face kind of guy.) Love Dad
