My Weekend

Jessica and Michelle are my oldest friends. We have been friends for about 15 years. We’ve lived in different cities since 2007, but have stayed in touch. Jessica and I were pregnant at the same time, and we took belly pictures together. She is due in August with her second, and Michelle’s daughter was born a year ago.

It’s not uncommon for friends to grow apart as they grow up, get married, or have kids, and it’s happened to me a lot. And in honor of me turning 25 and being a QUARTER OF A CENTURY old, I decided to share 25 things I’ve discovered about life (in no particular order): Continue reading “25 Lessons in 25 Years: Happy Birthday to Me!!”

Rebecca Joy. Back then I was just mad because no one else had to share their birthday month with anyone, but now it’s an honor to share February with her. There is so much I love about her and so much I hope for her. I love her tender heart. Even though people tease her for crying during basically any movie, I see compassion. She is incredibly Continue reading “So You’re Sixteen”
